To apply go here Job Duties Performs a variety of full performance, professional nursing duties related to delivering technical public health nursing services and programs to individuals, families and communities within the health district. Participates in or utilizes various nursing and medical care programs and service delivery methods as needed to best address the needs of communities and individuals. Programs include: Baby Your Baby, Case Management, Communicable Disease, Immunizations, WIC, International Travel Consultations, Home Visitation, School Nursing, Women's Health, Mentor student nurses, Lab- Health Screenings. Participates in county emergency response and preparedness plans. Acts as a liaison with emergency preparedness community partners. Work Schedule Monday thru Thursday 7:30-5:30, Friday from 8-5 with every other Friday off (may be required to work outside of regular work hours on rare occasions) Special Qualifications Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah Must be CPR certified Must possess a valid Utah State driver license Employer Offered Benefits Utah State Retirement Plan (URS) Paid sick and vacation (accrue 4 hours sick and 4 hours vacation every pay period) Medical-Dental-Vision covered by the employer (HSA program) Employee-spouse-dependent life insurance, long term care insurance 12 observed paid holidays Work Environment May be required to stay at or return to work during public health incidents and-or emergencies to perform duties specific to this classification or to perform other duties as requested in an assigned response position.
