We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse to work in our Pediatric unit. In this position you will have the opportunity to float to the Pediatric units at both Lone Peak Hospital in Draper, Utah and Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah. The Pediatric Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Pediatric nurses assess, plan and provide nursing care for children who are suffering from a wide variety of conditions including diseases, illnesses and recovering from surgery. Provide care for children of all ages providing appropriate inaction, communicate and care as appropriate for the age and development of the specific child. QUALIFICATIONS * Current Utah State Registered Nurse RN Compact license required. * Associates degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree in nursing BSN preferred. * Pediatric nursing experience required. * Current BLS preferred. Must obtain BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain certifications. * Current PALS preferred. Must obtain PALS within 6 months of hire and maintain certifications.
