Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced COVID vaccine clinic as a Registered Nurse. The RN will act as the onsite clinic manager ensuring quality and efficient COVID vaccine administration. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations and providing outstanding customer service. This position will work at immunization clinics in Provo, American Fork or Salem.

  • Manages and facilitates quality patient care.

  • Oversees clinic set-up and take down each shift.

  • Facilitates problem resolution and ensuring that clinics are staffed to meet patient volume and need.

  • Adheres to guidelines and instructions in preparing and drawing vaccines for administration.

  • Educates and observes patients who have received vaccines.

  • Understands and adheres to proper storage and handling protocols for COVID-19 vaccines.

  • Completes required documentations each shift for maintaining proper inventory levels, temperature monitoring of storage units, etc.

  • Demonstrates competency and knowledge of COVID-19 vaccines being administered, contraindications, treatment of potential adverse events and the ability to answer questions that may arise from patients.

  • Organizes and tracks vaccines administration ensuring proper supplies are available

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse

  • BLS certification.

  • Outstanding customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly and professional and be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive

  • Basic computer skills

Hours:

This is a temporary position to provide immunizations during the COVID pandemic, anticipated until further notice. Working hours 3:15 p.m.- 9:30 pm Monday-Friday.
