University of Utah Academic Program Manager in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
The Mountain West AIDS Education and Training Center (MWAETC) offers HIV treatment education, clinical consultation, and capacity building programs to health care professionals (HCP) and agencies in the Mountain West region. The MWAETC serves 10 states including Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, North Dakota, Montana, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. The purpose of the MWAETC is to increase the number and capacity of providers to deliver high quality HIV/AIDS care within the regions health care systems. The Utah AIDS Education and Training Center Local Performance Site (UT LPS) Program Manager is responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of needs based HIV training and capacity-building programs in Utah. The target audience includes clinical providers in programs funded through the Ryan White Program (RWP); other HRSA programs such as Rural and Community Health Centers; other federally supported health care facilities such as Indian Health Service and Veterans Administration; other providers serving minority, medically underserved or incarcerated populations, and private practice providers serving people living with HIV and/or prevention of HIV. The Utah LPS Program Manager will work under the supervision of the Utah LPS Medical Director. This position will also work with MWAETC Central Office (WA) staff, regional LPS staff, and other key collaborators to successfully implement Utah State program activities. This position is considered Category IIA: Not required on campus and has the ability to telework remotely for the duration of the University of Utahs response to COVID-19.
