Job Summary

Program manager who will work in concert with administrative, clinical staff, and contracted agencies to manage the implementation the clinical service provided by the Occupational Trauma Program. Develops and administers academic, clinical, and research programs by assisting with funding efforts, clinical and research coordination with patients and/or participants.

Responsibilities

1. Managing clinical and research schedule and activities.

2. Patient and/or participant coordination.

3. Routine monitoring of incoming data.

4. Assist in writing in clinical, research, and funding areas.

5. Develops and administers budget including educational and research funding

5. Assesses the past performance of academic and research programs though program evaluations.

6. May plan and schedule course offerings.

7. May be required to fulfill University or department teaching/research assignments.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Preferences

Bachelors degree in related area plus scientific and/or technical grant writing experience and management of program experience (research, clinical, or grant-based programs). This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
