Description SHIFT: PRN SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem Attention 2nd Semester Nursing Students!! Earn Premium Pay as PRN Advanced Patient Care Tech PRN Defined: Work minimum of one shift per two week pay period to assist with staffing for coverage of absences for staff planned/unplanned and/or increase in census. Advanced Patient Care Tech/CNA positions were created for the working student nurse. This position combines working as a CNA/PCT to gain experience with clinical situations working alongside a Registered Nurse. We will work with your school schedule to provide flexible working hours with the end goal of you working as a New Grad RN at St. Mark's Hospital. Join us in our efforts to better our community! Position Description: Under the general direction of his/her supervisor, the Advanced Patient Care Tech provides a variety of patient care activities for assigned patients. This level is based on experience and skill check off at the employee's School of Nursing skills are validated through the education department utilizing the same check off methods as utilized with other employees. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Education:Anursing student who has completed at least one semesterin an accredited nursing program and skill certification;or a newly graduated nurse who has failedState Boards once and is without a Temporary Permit. Experience:Previous CNA or unit secretary experience preferred. Licensure/Certifications:Current Nursing Assistant Certification. AmericanRed Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)and Certification. CNA certification must be obtained by time of offer.Notice Our Company's recruiters...
