72122BR Clinical Consultant - Quality, Safety and Value Team Professional Job Description Our Quality, Safety and Value government team is hiring for a Clinical Consultant, you will be responsible for executing a defined value management strategy to ensure the client is positioned to recognize value from implementing and utilizing Cerner integrated technologies and workflows. You will use a set of performance improvement practices, tools, and operational processes embedded throughout the project for achieving defined value-based outcomes and results that extend across the continuum of care. You will align to all solution teams to support current state, future state, and gap analysis exercises. You will partner with Cerner client stakeholders to form relationships and holistically impact client performance, satisfaction, and value-based outcomes during project engagements. You will provide guidance and expertise to clients and internal project team. You will support engagement management team in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met to deliver value to the client as committed. You will lead client meetings and facilitate discussions around value planning and value achievement events. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience* At least 5 years of licensed clinical or health care work experience* Registered Nurse licensure* Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience* At least 1 year of health care information technology, project management, sales or consulting work experience* At least 4 years of people management work experience Expectations * Willing to travel up to 80% as needed* Must currently reside in or willing to relocate to a Cerner virtually approved city* Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training* Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations* Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position* Perform other responsibilities as assigned Additional Information Applicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
