70426BR Health Care Executive Senior Professional Job Description Cerner is continuing to grow, and our Real Time Health System group is hiring a Health Care Executive to partner with Cerner clients to holistically impact clinical performance, outcomes, and satisfaction on client projects. As a Health Care Executive, you will provide executive oversight to projects, ensuring client adoption of technologies that influence the care delivery model for highly complex, high profile or multi-site client programs, and build trusted relationships with key client executives accountable for driving executive discussions concerning strategy, structure, management and operations of an organization by providing leadership and change management influence. Other responsibilities will be to direct the overall adoption activities and relationship in partnership with the internal and client leadership teams; to partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize clinically-driven revenue cycle workflows to achieve financial performance goals; and to conduct active surveillance and provide mitigation strategies for identified risks impacting the quality, safety, and operational integrity of clinical information systems. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Clinical Studies or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience* At least 6 years of health care operations management work experience* At least 5 years of licensed clinical or health care work experiencePreferred Qualifications * At least 5 years of clinical practice using health care information technology toolsExpectations * Active registration or license in a clinical discipline and has not been censured or forced to relinquish license due to impropriety* Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training* Willing to travel up to 100% as needed* Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations* Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position* Perform other responsibilities as assigned* Must currently live within 60 miles of a virtually approved city Additional Information Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
