70159BR Lead Clinical Consultant - Value Advisory Services Senior Professional Job Description As a Lead Clinical Consultant on the Value Advisory Services team you partner with Cerner client clinical stakeholders to form relationships and holistically impact client clinical performance, satisfaction, and clinical and business outcomes during project engagements. You will manage complex client relationships with a high degree of variability that require influence to achieve targeted outcomes, consult with clients to create a strategic value measure plan resulting in value achievement across clinical workflows, and analyze and interpret data to identify key performance indicators for maintaining business continuity and create mitigation plan to address risk areas. You will also identify organizational opportunities to improve quality of care and patient safety, influence client clinical workflow design strategy and coach and mentor other clinical consultants. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Studies, Health Care or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience* At least 5 years' licensed clinical or health care work experience* At least 5 years of health care information technology (HCIT) consulting work experience* Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications * Master's Degree in Clinical Studies or Health Care* At least 4 years of people management work experience* Clinical Ambulatory or Operating Room working experience* At least 4 years of Clinical Adoption or Physician Track work experience* Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Expectations * Willing to travel 80-100% as needed* Must currently reside in the Kansas City area or live within 60 miles of a Cerner virtually approved city.* Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training* Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations* Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position* Perform other responsibilities as assigned Additional Information Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
