We're currently hiring a Product Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of innovative, market-ready products. You will manage strategy execution for a small or limited growth product; balance scrum team resources across features, defects, risk prevention and retirement of technical debt; prioritize the product roadmap and decide when to release the new functionality; and translate market requirements into product or component features. Some of your responsibilities will also include to own the product backlog, working through the product owner or directly with scrum team to prioritize and clarify product requirements; execute product proof-of-concept and experimentation processes; to coordinate effective product partner validation processes; and to collaborate with stakeholders within the immediate organization to ensure successful release of new or improved product functionalities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience* At least 4 years of product design, product strategy, health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or other relevant product-related work experiencePreferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience* At least 3 years of health care information technology (HCIT) work experience* At least 2 years of product management work experience* Understanding of care management in a provider and / or health plan settingExpectations * Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations* Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position* Perform other responsibilities as assigned* Must be willing to reside in Kansas City or live in a Virtually approved city Additional Information Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
