Position Description: St Marks Ortho Neuro floor is seeking registered nurses who want to make a difference in the lives of their patients. This postoperative orthopedic floor cares for patients directly after total joint, spine, or other orthopedic surgery . It is a high volume, high energy unit that is very cohesive with a great group of physicians, nurses, and CNAs. The Ortho/Surgical unit has an unparalleled reputation of teamwork and provides an inviting atmosphere for new employees. We work very hard to welcome all members of the healthcare team and provide a great learning environment for all employees. It is a great unit to receive basic skills needed to further your career but also offers enough variety and experience for individuals looking for a specialty area. We have a strong focus on patient satisfaction and look to treat every patient as if they are our own family.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) (BSN preferred) * * LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: * Utah* RN License in this state (required) or RN compact license from participating compact states.
* Maintains current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required. *EXPERIENCE
: * One-year experience in acute care (preferred)
