This position is with the Bureau of Long Term Services and Supports,Division of Medicaid and Health Financing,within the Utah Department of Health. This position oversees the Technology Dependent and Medically Complex Children's Waiver programs that serve children with complex medical conditions. Specific pediatric nursing expertise is required in this position to assure appropriate program oversight and policy development. This position develops,manages and coordinates the resources required to deliver the program. Typical tasks may include: staff supervision; limited budget preparation and monitoring; coordination and monitoring grant applications or state plans; negotiating health program services and inter-agency collaboration with other state and county agencies,programs,providers and community-based organizations; expert consultation services to public and private health care providers. May oversee data collection and analysis to plan and prioritize public health programs. Some positions may supervise subordinate personnel. Why work for the Utah Department of Health?
