Qualifications:
Good phone etiquette
Computer knowledge
Fast learner, reliable and dependable
Be able to handle a fast paced medical environment with a high volume of phone calls
Some medical knowledge helps
Description:
Provide prompt and friendly telephone messages
Take and communicate accurate messages to medical staff
Be able to use a multi-line phone system
Speak with pharmacies and insurance companies as needed
Adhere to all HIPAA rules and regulations
Return patient messages in a timely manner
Write and or type clearly using correct spelling and grammar
Make appointments and fax documents
Maintain a professional image at all times
Balance team and individual responsibilities
Other duties as assigned
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45 am - 5 pm
